Please note that with COVID-19, we will be adjusting our farmstand practices to follow recommendations by the state of Illinois for our customers' and employees' safety. As such, we will be adjusting our farmstand experience. We allow a maximum of 10 persons in our farmstand at one time. Customers must wear a face mask and maintain the recommended 6' social distancing space both inside and while waiting outside the farmstand. Face masks must cover both the nose and mouth and be securely fastened. Customers may now handle and select their own produce. However, we ask that you buy what you touch and do not strip any of our corn, exposing the kernels. Our floors will be marked with signs indicating traffic flow througout the farmstand. We thank you for your patience and cooperation.
We are a seasonal business from April/May to the end of October. Please be aware that farming is highly dependent on good weather and we reserve the right to close early on days where it is unsafe for our workers to be outside or in the farmstand. As such, our hours might not always accurately reflect what's on the website and we appreciate your patience in those matters. Please use the contact page to call ahead if you are making a special trip. Our hours and other special events are listed below.
Like the farmstands of yesteryear, Mayneland Farm is a cash business and does not have the equipment to process credit and debit cards. Please be aware that we can only accept cash or personal checks. Luckily there are many ATMs conveniently located in the area. Receipts can be written upon request.
Hours & Special Events
Our Spring hours tend to fluctuate due to product availability. Once sweet
corn is ready towards the end of July, we switch to a full summer schedule which we keep for the remainder of the year. Additional events or special announcements for
particular dates will be listed here on our hours page. Due to the supply of spring veggies, we may be closed if we sell out early. Please call first if you are coming from a long distance
to make sure we are open.
Our first week of Spring Hours starts May 5th
Please read our updated COVID announcement on our front page about new shopping proceedures for our farmstand. Thank you for your understanding as we seek to keep both our employees and customers healthy.
